Cowper Wharf Road, Woolloomooloo

Arthouse Interiors was engaged by apartment specialists Mr & Mrs Elias to reimagine this residence at Cowper Wharf, Woolloomooloo. Situated in a prime harbourfront location just a short distance from the city, the apartment was purchased in its original condition, dating back over 20 years. The interiors showed signs of age, with dated finishes, poor planning, and an impractical layout.

We approached the project as a complete transformation, reconfiguring several key areas to enhance functionality, improve access, and maximise storage. A priority for the client was the conversion of the pantry into a laundry while retaining valuable kitchen storage — a challenge we were able to achieve seamlessly.

Throughout the apartment, we carefully considered flow and practicality, ensuring that every design decision supported ease of living. One major shortfall in the original layout was robe storage. To resolve this, we introduced generous built-in robes and additional drawer storage, cleverly framing the apartment’s outlook across Cowper Wharf.

The result is a home that reflects the client’s personality and lifestyle — a modern interior that is stylish, practical, and easy to maintain, while remaining highly functional for everyday living.
