Balmain East
Arthouse Interiors was engaged by Issy & H Creative to assist with the renovation of this Balmain East apartment, providing interior design development, spatial planning and documentation throughout the project. The renovation was delivered in collaboration with Issy & H Creative and Jet Charm, now James Morrison Construction.
With harbour views and glimpses of the Sydney Harbour Bridge informing the design direction, the interiors were conceived as a calm and relaxed sanctuary. Inspired by the apartment's waterfront setting, the design embraces a contemporary coastal aesthetic, combining natural materials, soft finishes and a restrained palette to create a timeless and welcoming home.
Working closely with Issy & H Creative, Arthouse Interiors assisted in bringing the design vision to life through the development and documentation of the kitchen, bathrooms, bespoke joinery and key interior architectural elements. Carefully considered planning improved functionality, increased storage and transformed underperforming spaces to better support modern living.
Furniture, artwork and styling selections were curated by Issy & H Creative, adding warmth, personality and a layered finish to the completed project.
